my first entry...

Ok, so I've decided to start yet another journal...hopefully LJ will be better than AOL or crappy old Diaryland.

So the Odd Trio are finally in business in our new location...Balls, Randy, & Bubba...HAHAHA...how sweet it is! And who can forget the beloved Buddha, also recently dubbed "Houdini" for his escape tricks...crazy hamster! It's really nice over here & I really love it...my roomies rock & being close to campus & my friends & stuff is so awesome! I'll be bringing my baby kitty Geronimo here soon, although we have to make sure Buddha doesn't try anymore escapes...if he does then I'm afraid he'll be dinner for Geronimo & I don't wanna see that happen...especially since Buddha loves me so much...

Yeah...the hamster loves me so much, one night I passed out on the couch in the living room & I wake up to this scratching noise then I feel something crawling between my leg & the cushion so I jump up throwing the blanket up in the air & I see what I think is a mouse go flying...so of course I FLIPPED OUT & ran upstairs...well the next morning Bubba found Buddha sitting on top of his cage wanting to be let back into captivity! I must have scared the poor little guy to death! I mean geez! Even the hamster loves me...what's a girl to do?! HAHAHA...j/k

I actually cannot wait for classes to start...I'm hoping I'll have a pretty easy load this semester since I'm only taking like 2 400-level classes & one of those is my internship. Karla & Amanda will be here too, so I'm super super super excited about that! YAY! :) I am loving my internship at the center & in August I start my Resource Counselor training which is going to be even MORE awesome! Unfortunately tho, my last day working with Debbie is gonna be August 5, basically because it's like a 30 minute drive out to her house each way. That's over an hour of driving time each day & with my schedule I just can't dedicate that much time to driving & money to put gas in my car every day. I hate it b/c I was her first worker & we've gotten so close & she's come so far, but I have to do what's best. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up another client that lives about 5 minutes from here...fingers crossed!!! And yeah, I definitely failed my real estate exam...HAHAHA...not that I expected any different or anything...I need to motivate myself to study so that I can retake the blasted thing, I guess...yuck!

Well I guess that's it for now...I need to get some sleep since I have to be @ Debbie's @ 7:30 in the morning. But something to look forward to: I'M ACTUALLY GOING OUT SATURDAY NIGHT! Yes folks, you heard it, Lals is goin out for the first time this summer & I can't wait! This is the first time I've felt good enough & had enough TIME to go out so downtown Greensboro better get ready...the Lals is back in action! YAY!

And on a random note, my bestest friend in the entire universe, Melinda Dawn Norris, is getting MARRIED!!! Congratulations Lindie & Chris! I love you guys! :) :) :) :) :) :)
